We congratulate Alek Ledvina of Indian Springs, who was named one of 10 Finalists in the Stossel in the Classroom essay contest, a project of the non-profit Center for Independent Thought. Alek wrote the essay as part of the MSON course “Advanced Microeconomics,” taught by Julien Meyer at Severn School. Students were asked to write an essay on minimum wage laws and their impact on the economy, and the contest received 2,000 submissions.
